The Morgan Foundation recently posted this blog, talking to Craige & Roz Mackenzie about how they've applied Precision Agriculture practices successfully to their farming operation in mid Canterbury.  And at a time when ECan is working to "identify environmental risks and provide farmers with information on how to improve farm management", the type of operation that the Mackenzie's are running shows profitability and sustainability can be achieved without breaching water consents.

Craige and Roz have been acknowledged for their approach by receiving a Ballance Farm Environment Award in 2013. Craige has also recently been appointed to the Ministry for the Environment’s Water Allocation Technical Advisory Group.
