Peter joined Lincoln Agritech as CEO in 2009. He has a history in marketing, private sector contract research facilitation, technology commercialization and economic development. His previous roles include General Manager of Business Development at Crop and Food Research Ltd, Business Incubator Development Manager at Industry NZ (now NZTE), as well as founder and Managing Director of Southern Wasabi Ltd, a private company that was the first in NZ to export NZ grown wasabi to Japan. His other private sector experience includes Marketing Manager at D M Palmer Ltd, a produce exporting company, and R & D Manager at PGG Wrightson Seeds. In addition to his current role, he holds several directorships, including the Canterbury Development Corporation (Deputy Chair), CRIS Ltd, Scitox Ltd, and NZ Food Innovation South Island Ltd. Peter’s main driver for working in research is to be integral in driving new technology into the NZ economy to improve economic development.
