Formally known as Precision Irrigation, Lindsay NZ is a New Zealand based research and development arm of Lindsay Corporation. Lindsay Corporation are based in Nebraska, USA, and manufacture and market Zimmatic irrigators.
The Lindsay NZ team developed the Precision VRI Variable Rate Irrigation system in 2007 and have since been supplying systems in NZ and Australia from their base in the Manawatu region of NZ.
In 2010 the company won the Irrigation NZ Inaugral Innovation in Irrigation Award and three Westpac Manawatu Business awards including Supreme Award for overall all winner in Manawatu. In 2012 Precision Irrigation was ranked 11th equal in the New River green 50 list for companies that improve the environment.
